Willem I

King 1815-1840

Willem Frederikl Born on the 24 of August 1772. His parents were Prince Willem V of Orange and Nassau, Hereditary Stadtholder of the Republic of the United Netherlands and Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia.
He became Sovereign Prince in 1813. The Vienna Conference of 1815 decided to expand the Netherlands with the Austrian Netherlands (today Belgium) and make it a kingdom. Before that could enter into force, Napoleon started his second reign. As a result, Willem decided to proclaim himself King of the expanded kingdom. In 1815 Willem also became Grand Duke of Luxembourg in exchange for his territories in Germany.
In 1830 the southern provinces declared their independence as the new state Belgium.
Married 1st to Wilhelmine of Prussia on the 1 of October 1791. Children: Willem II, Frederik, Pauline, Marianne.
William I abdicated on the 7 of October 1840 and was succeded by his son, Willem II.
Married 2nd to Henrietta Adrienne Ludovica Flora d'Oultremont de Wègimont on the 17 of February 1841. Willem I died on the 12 of December 1843.

Willem II

King 1840-1849

Willem Frederik Georg Lodewijk. Born on the 6 of December 1792. His parents were King Willem I and Queen Wilhelmina (née Princess of Prussia). He acceded the throne when his father abdicated on the 7 of October 1840.
Married on the 21 of February 1816 to Anna Pavlovna of Russia. Children: Willem III, Alexander, Hendrik, Casimir, Sophie.
He died on the 17 of March 1849, and was succeeded by his son, Willem III.

Willem III

King 1849-1890

Willem Alexander Paul Frederik Lodewijk. Born on the 19 of February 1817. His parents were King Willem II and Queen Anna (née Grand Duchess of Russia). He acceded as King of the Netherlands and Grand Duke of Luxembourg upon the death of his father on the 17 of March 1849.
Married 1st on the 18 of June 1839 to Sophie Frederica Mathilde of Würtemberg. Sons: Willem, Maurits, Alexander.
Married 2nd on the 7 of January 1879 to Emma of Waldeck and Pyrmont. Daughter: Wilhelmina.
His sons predeceased him. When he died on the 23 of November 1890, he was succeeded by his daughter Wilhelmina in the Netherlands. Luxembourg had at the time Salic law, and Willem III was therefore succeeded as Grand Duke by his distant relative, Adolf of Nassau.

Wilhelmina

Queen 1890-1948

Wilhelmina Helena Pauline Maria. Born on the 31 of August 1880. Her parents were King Willem III and Queen Emma (née Princess of Waldeck and Pyrmont). She acceded the Dutch throne upon the death of her father on the 23 of November 1890.
Married on the 7 of February 1901 to Duke Heinrich of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Daughter: Juliana.
On the 4 of September 1948, Queen Wilhelmina abdicated, and was succeeded by her daughter Juliana.

Juliana

Queen 1948-1980

Juliana Luise Emma Mari Wilhelmina. Born on the 30 of April 1909. Her parents were Queen Wilhelmina and Prince Heinrich (née Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin). She acceded the throne when her mother abdicated on the 4 of September 1948.
Married on the 7 of January 1937 to Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld. Daughters: Beatrix, Irene, Margriet, Christina.
On the 30 of April 1980, Queen Juliana abdicated, and was succeeded by her daughter Beatrix.

Beatrix

Queen 1980-

Born on the 31 of January 1938. Her parents are Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld. She acceded the throne when her mother abdicated on the 30 of April 1980.
Married on the 10 of March 1966 to Claus von Amsberg.
Sons: Willem-Alexander, Johan Friso, Constantijn.
