Children: Gustaf Adolf Oscar Fredrik Arthur Edmund (1906-1947) Duke of Västerbotten, Sigvard Oscar Fredrik (b 1907) Duke of Uppland 1907-1934, renounced his rights to the throne in 1934, Ingrid Victoria Sofia Louise Margareta (b 1910), Bertil Gustaf Oscar Carl Eugen (1912-1997) Duke of Halland, Carl Johan Arthur (b 1916), Duke of Dalarna 1916-1946, renounced his rights to the throne in 1946.
Married 2. 3 of November 1923 to lady Louise Mountbatten (1889-1965), daughter of Prince Louis Mountbatten, Marquis of Milford-Haven and Princess Victoria of Hesse.
