Elected co-King with his father in 1019. Elected king after his father's death 1022.
Married to Gunhild (dead after 1050).
Anund was baptized abt 1007-1008 and was then given the name Jakob. Together with his brother-in-law, King Olav Haraldsson of Norway, he faught against King Canute of England and Denmark at Helgeå in Scania abt 1026.
He was succeded by his half-brother Emund.
